🏰 From the legendary Coche-Dury, this 1994 Meursault Les Rougeots is a rare opportunity to experience a mature expression from one of Burgundy's most iconic white wine producers, showcasing unparalleled depth and complexity. Expect a rich, complex bouquet of 【hazelnut, butter, and honey, intertwined with white flowers and profound minerality】, leading to a full-bodied, textured palate with a long, saline finish. With age, subtle notes of mushroom and truffle may emerge, adding to its allure.
🍴 This magnificent 布根地 (Burgundy) white pairs exquisitely with roasted chicken in a rich cream sauce, pan-seared scallops, rich fish dishes like turbot, or a selection of aged Comté or Gruyère cheese. For an Asian pairing, consider steamed garoupa with ginger and spring onion, or a delicate chicken and mushroom soup.
🥂 An exceptional choice for a very special, intimate dinner for Burgundy lovers, or a significant anniversary, offering a profound and contemplative drinking experience. Serve at cellar temperature (12-14°C). Decanting may be beneficial to allow the wine to open up and shed any potential sediment, revealing its full, evolved character.
