Lecheneaut, Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers, 2013
🏰 The 2013 Lecheneaut Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers is a classic expression of Nuits-Saint-Georges, known for its firm structure and savory character. The 2013 vintage in Burgundy was generally cool, producing wines with bright acidity and a more traditional, age-worthy profile. Expect a nose of 【red cherries, wild berries, earthy undertones, and a hint of spice and forest floor】. The palate is precise and focused, with firm tannins that suggest excellent aging potential, balanced by vibrant acidity and a core of red fruit. This wine embodies the serious, terroir-driven style of Nuits-Saint-Georges.
🍴 This structured red Burgundy is an excellent companion for roasted poultry like guinea fowl or duck breast, beef bourguignon, or a rich mushroom tart. For an Asian pairing, consider a savory Cantonese roast pigeon or a delicate Japanese sukiyaki.
🥂 Ideal for a formal dinner, a vertical tasting of Nuits-Saint-Georges, or for cellaring to enjoy its evolution over the next decade or more.
