BACKGROUND
d'Arenberg is one of McLaren Vale's most iconic and historic wineries, founded in 1912 by Joseph Osborn. Today, it is led by the eccentric and innovative Chester Osborn. The 'Coppermine Road' is their flagship Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from a low-yielding, old-vine vineyard planted in 1936. Known for its traditional winemaking methods, including foot-treading and basket pressing, d'Arenberg crafts a Cabernet of immense power and structure. It features intense aromas of blackcurrant, mint, cedar, and dark chocolate, with firm tannins that ensure decades of aging potential.
