Domaine Clair-Daü is considered one of the greatest wineries in Burgundy (founded in 1919). Domaine Louis Jadot acquired most of the domaine's land in 1985, including the Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Gevrey - Chambertin Clos Saint-Jacques - Chambertin Clos St. Jacques, as well as other selected plots in the Côte de Nuits, including several in Marsannay.
