Michel Bouzereau, Meursault Genevrieres 1er Cru, 2010
🏰 The 2010 vintage for Burgundy white wines was exceptionally good, with experts praising the 'grand cru-like quality' of the ripe yet racy wines. White Burgundy lovers can buy with confidence. Michel Bouzereau's Meursault Genevrieres 1er Cru 2010, a Chardonnay, shows an attractive nose with notes of stone fruit, ripe apple, honey, caramel, and a hint of Genevrieres' flowers, though some bottles might show a touch of oxidation. The palate is often fresher than the nose suggests, offering ripe apples and sweeter stone-fruit flavors, balanced by bright acidity and a mineral lick, finishing with a warm nuttiness. This wine offers lovely depth and power, maintaining balance despite its fleshy fruit. 【 Grand Cru-like quality in a 1er Cru 】.
🍴 This elegant white Burgundy pairs beautifully with classic poultry dishes like roast chicken or turkey. It would also complement rich seafood, creamy pasta, or mature hard cheeses.
🥂 Perfect for a sophisticated dinner party, a special anniversary celebration, or as a thoughtful gift for a discerning white Burgundy enthusiast.
