🏰 The 2023 Francois Raveneau Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru is a 【concentrated and powerful wine from one of Chablis' most celebrated producers, hailing from the most renowned Grand Cru vineyard, Les Clos】. Raveneau is a beacon for connoisseurs of classical white Burgundy, known for crafting wines with remarkable aging potential. The 2023 vintage in Chablis is showing great promise, with wines exhibiting a beautiful bouquet and excellent concentration. This wine offers pronounced, youthful fruit aromas of Granny Smith apple and passion fruit, touched with spice, and a profound saline mineral underpinning. On the palate, it is broad-shouldered and intense, with excellent concentration and power, a strong mineral character, and a distinct, almost painfully intense finish, balancing deep richness with a vigorous sense of freshness. It's a wine built for the long haul, with magic awaiting those who cellar it for 15 years or more.
🍴 This powerful and mineral-driven Chablis Grand Cru is an exceptional pairing for fresh seafood, especially oysters, grilled lobster, pan-seared scallops, or rich fish dishes. It also complements roasted chicken with herbs or creamy goat cheese. For an Asian pairing, consider steamed crab with ginger and vinegar, or delicate sashimi.
