Dujac, Gevrey Chambertin Aux Combottes 1er Cru, 2014
🏰The 2014 Dujac Gevrey Chambertin Aux Combottes 1er Cru is a 【fragrant and floral expression from a very fine Burgundy vintage, showcasing impressive precision and detail】. The 2014 vintage in Burgundy was noted for producing delicious, terroir-driven wines, and Dujac's Aux Combottes, with its significant whole-bunch fruit, offers a mineral-tinged black fruit profile. While some initial notes mentioned a 'stemmy' character, this recedes to reveal attractive spiciness and a deep, pure, and transparent palate.
🍴 This superb Pinot Noir is an ideal match for roasted duck, various game birds, rich mushroom dishes, or classic Burgundian beef preparations.
🥂 An excellent choice for a serious Burgundy tasting, a special celebratory dinner, or a thoughtful gift for a collector who appreciates elegant and complex Pinot Noir.
