FEATURES
🏰An archetype of classic Champagne, Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Brut is celebrated for its exceptional balance and consistent quality, a result of a 15-year project to craft a blend of over 100 wines. Released in 2017, this non-vintage brut replaced their previous flagship, with the current release's base being the 2016 vintage. It's primarily Chardonnay (>50%), Pinot Noir (30-35%), and Pinot Meunier (10-15%), with 15-30% reserve wines, aged for 4 years. It pours an extremely pale gold with vibrant effervescence. The nose offers delicate hints of fresh citrus and white flowers, brioche, and sweet orchard fruits. On the palate, it's bright, focused, and full-bodied, with a fine core of fruit, lovely soil inflection, and elegant mousse. Flavors include crisp green apple, D'Anjou pear, baked into a buttery tart garnished with candied ginger bits, light butter biscuits, subtle cooked apples and peaches, pineapple, lime, apricot, flint, red apple, yellow peach, toasted brioche, honey, and straw, leading to a long, zesty, and well-balanced finish.
🍴 Ideal accompaniment to poultry and the finest fish. Also pairs well with light butter biscuits, subtle cooked apples and peaches.
🥂 Perfect for an aperitif, a New Year's Eve celebration, or any occasion calling for a classic, elegant bubbly.
