🏰The 2022 Vincent Dancer Meursault Perrières 1er Cru is poised to be one of the finest expressions from this esteemed address, showcasing 【remarkable complexity and a wonderfully deep, pure palate】. Meursault Perrières is a benchmark Premier Cru site, celebrated for its stony limestone soils that impart a distinctive minerality. Despite a challenging 2022 vintage with low yields, Vincent Dancer's meticulous viticulture and extended lees aging promise a wine of exceptional elegance and longevity. Expect aromas of pear, ripe citrus oil, hazelnuts, freshly baked bread, and white flowers. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with a satiny attack, layered fruit, and a long, palate-staining finish.
🍴 This exquisite white Burgundy is a perfect match for luxurious dishes such as chicken in cream sauce, pan-seared scallops in béchamel, or white truffle risotto. It also pairs beautifully with rich fish like salmon or tuna, delicate seafood, and soft to semi-hard cheeses like Brie or Gruyère.
🥂 An ideal choice for a celebratory meal, a sophisticated aperitif, or as a prized addition to any serious Burgundy collection.
BACKGROUND
Domaine Vincent Dancer is a small but highly regarded Burgundian producer based in Chassagne-Montrachet, in the Côte de Beaune, France. The primary grape variety is Chardonnay. Dancer began in 1996 with an annual production of 4000 bottles, sold mainly to négociants, and produced from family-owned vines that had previously been rented to relatives. Since 2003, this figure has increased to around 20,000 bottles. Since the portfolio includes over a dozen wines, only a few barrels made of each.
