FEATURES
🏰 The 1995 vintage in Bordeaux was exceptional, marked by ideal climatic conditions including a mild winter, hot and dry spring, and perfectly ripe, sound grapes at harvest. Château La Tour Haut-Brion, a historic Cru Classé de Graves, produced one of its finest wines in 1995. This red Bordeaux offers controlled power and a silky texture, with complex aromas of ripe black fruits, cassis, liquorice, leather, and tobacco, complemented by subtle smoky and mineral nuances. While youthful and tannic in its early years, it has evolved beautifully, with tannins softening to reveal a long, round, and spicy finish.
🍴 This mature Bordeaux is an ideal accompaniment to classic meat dishes. It pairs wonderfully with grilled rib of beef, roast game, lamb, duck, and other roasted, braised, or grilled preparations. Its complexity also makes it a fantastic match for mature cheeses such as an old Cantal or Comté.
🥂 An excellent choice for a significant anniversary, a formal dinner, or a gathering of serious wine collectors. Its age and complexity make it a wine to be savored and discussed. Given its maturity, handle the bottle gently. The cork may be fragile, so a two-pronged Ah-So or Durand opener is advisable. Decanting for 1-2 hours is recommended to allow the wine to breathe and separate from any sediment, revealing its full aromatic spectrum. Serve at a cool cellar temperature, around 15.5°C (60°F). 【Exceptional Bordeaux vintage from a historic estate, known for finesse and longevity.】
