La Vougeraie, Vougeot 1er Cru Clos Blanc De Vougeot Monopole, 2011
🏰 Domaine de la Vougeraie's Vougeot 1er Cru Clos Blanc de Vougeot Monopole 2011 is a 【rare and exceptional white Burgundy, a monopole vineyard offering a unique expression of Chardonnay from the heart of the Côte de Nuits】. The 2011 vintage in Burgundy for white wines was generally good, producing charming and approachable wines with lovely fruit and freshness. This wine, from a single-owner vineyard, would showcase a beautiful balance of ripe orchard fruit, citrus, and floral notes, with a distinctive minerality and a long, elegant finish. Its rarity and unique terroir make it a highly prized bottle.
🍴 This exquisite white Burgundy is a superb match for pan-seared scallops, roasted chicken with morel mushrooms, or a delicate fish in a cream sauce. It also pairs wonderfully with aged goat cheese or Comté.
🥂 An ideal choice for a special occasion, a discerning Burgundy collector, or a memorable gastronomic experience.
BACKGROUND
Domaine de la Vougeraie is an estate formed by the merger of multiple vineyard assets acquired by the Boisset family in the Côte d'Or in Burgundy. One of the newer wineries in Burgundy, the first vintage produced was 1999. The winery is located in the village of Premo between Côte de Nuits, which is dominated by Pinot Noir, and Côte de Beaune, which is dominated by Chardonnay. It owns land in 6 Grand Crus, 8 Premier Crus and 11 rural appellations. Among them, the white wine produced by the small venue adjacent to Clos de Vougeot is very popular in Burgundy.
