🏰 The 2014 vintage in 布根地 is considered an excellent year, characterized by freshness, elegance, and balance, producing aromatic wines with good aging potential. Louis Max, founded in 1859, is a historic 布根地 négociant-éleveur. Since 2014, David Duband's arrival as technical director marked a decisive turning point, with the entire vineyard now certified organic. The winemaking of the Clos Vougeot Grand Cru 2014 benefited from these new methods, with traditional aging in French oak barrels.
🍴 This wine pairs perfectly with roasted red meats, feathered game, and duck-based dishes. It also goes beautifully with aged cheeses such as Comté or Gruyère. Louis Latour suggests game, rib-eye steak, roasted lamb, veal with morels, and mature cheeses.
🥂 This structured and elegant Grand Cru is suitable for significant dinners, special occasions, or for cellaring to further develop its complexity. Decanting for 30 to 45 minutes is recommended to allow the wine to express its full aromatic complexity.
This Clos Vougeot Grand Cru 2014 displays a deep ruby red hue with garnet highlights. The nose reveals beautiful aromatic complexity with notes of red fruits like cherry and raspberry, accompanied by dark fruits like blackberry. With aeration, aromas of undergrowth, truffle, violet, and sweet spices emerge. On the palate, it's powerful and full-bodied with present and well-integrated tannins, offering beautiful aromatic persistence. Louis Latour's Clos Vougeot 2014, also from the same vintage, offers a complex nose with floral, myrtle, and undergrowth notes, an ample, rich mouth with mellow tannins, and blackcurrant, spices, and delicate smoky notes. 【 2014優異年份,展現布根地特級園的清新、優雅與平衡 】
