🏰【The 1990 vintage is considered a legendary year for Burgundy, producing rich, concentrated, and long-lived Pinot Noirs.】 Jacques Frederic Mugnier's Chambolle Musigny Les Fuees 1er Cru from this exceptional vintage is a rare gem. Expect a wine of profound elegance and complexity, with tertiary aromas of dried roses, forest floor, truffle, and sweet spices, layered over fading red fruit. The palate should be silky and ethereal, with perfectly integrated tannins and a long, haunting finish, showcasing the pinnacle of aged Burgundy.
🍴 This exquisite, mature Burgundy demands equally refined pairings such as roasted squab, pan-seared foie gras, delicate truffle pasta, or aged Comté cheese.
🥂 This is a wine for a truly momentous occasion, a significant anniversary, or a once-in-a-lifetime tasting for serious Burgundy connoisseurs. Kindly reminder of old cork and capsule.
