🏰news | features + short tasting note IN ENGLISH
From the esteemed Bernard Dugat Py, this 2011 Chambertin Grand Cru hails from a vintage that, while mixed, produced some truly charming and aromatic wines in Burgundy. The 2011 growing season saw early ripeness, offering wines that are often approachable in their youth. Expect a captivating bouquet of vibrant red fruits, such as wild strawberry and cherry, interwoven with delicate floral notes and a hint of forest floor. On the palate, it should be elegant and refined, with silky tannins and a fresh acidity that leads to a harmonious finish. 【A testament to the producer's mastery, offering an aromatic and approachable expression of Chambertin.】
🍴 Chinese Cantonese food pairing various types of suggestion east or west corresponding to wine cost IN ENGLISH
This exquisite Grand Cru would be a superb match for Cantonese roasted squab with a light soy glaze or a delicate braised abalone. For Western cuisine, consider roasted guinea fowl with truffles, pan-seared foie gras, or a classic beef bourguignon. It also pairs wonderfully with mature, earthy cheeses.
