🏰 The 2015 vintage in Burgundy was generally excellent for both red and white wines, characterized by a warm and dry growing season. For white wines, this meant ripe, concentrated fruit, often with a generous texture, yet many producers managed to retain a crucial freshness and acidity, resulting in wines of both power and balance.
Coche-Dury's Meursault Les Chevalières 2015 is a highly sought-after wine from one of Burgundy's most revered producers. The Les Chevalières vineyard is known for producing Meursaults with a distinctive mineral backbone and impressive longevity. This 2015 vintage typically displays a brilliant golden color. On the nose, it offers an intricate bouquet of ripe yellow fruits like lemon, peach, and apricot, layered with notes of toasted nuts, butter, white flowers, and a profound stony minerality. The palate is rich and concentrated, yet remarkably precise and vibrant, with a creamy texture balanced by a piercing acidity and a long, complex finish that echoes with mineral and savory notes. Coche-Dury's wines are legendary for their quality and rarity, making this 2015 Meursault Les Chevalières 【 a highly prized and collectible expression of Meursault's finest terroir 】. It has excellent aging potential and will continue to develop for many years.
🍴 This exquisite Meursault Les Chevalières demands equally refined food pairings. Consider dishes such as roasted lobster, pan-seared foie gras, rich poultry in cream sauces, or delicate white fish with truffle. It also pairs beautifully with aged Comté or other nutty, firm cheeses.
🥂 An exceptional choice for a very special celebration, a serious wine tasting, or as a prized addition to a connoisseur's cellar. Its rarity and profound quality make it a truly memorable experience.
