🏰 The 2008 Burgundy vintage was characterized by a capricious climate, with a cool summer and a late harvest. However, perfect conditions in September, aided by a north wind, rescued the vintage, leading to wines of resilience and refinement, offering good balance and longevity. This Bonnes Mares Grand Cru is described as classy and elegant, showcasing gorgeous inner liqueur-like sweetness, expressive aromatics, and a rich, textured finish. It exhibits sheer depth, density, and incisiveness of fruit, complemented by expressive floral notes. 【A testament to triumph in adversity, offering remarkable balance and longevity from a challenging vintage.】
🍴 Excellent with duck, goose, and other game birds.
🥂 An illustrious addition to any discerning collector's cache, representing a triumph in adversity. It's a wine of power and finesse, suitable for special occasions.
