FEATURES
🏰 The 2022 Chateau Pape Clement Blanc emerges from a vintage characterized by a mild, wet winter, a warm, dry spring (despite an early frost), and a sunny, dry summer. This white Bordeaux is a blend of 63% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Sémillon, and 2% Muscadelle, with the estate employing both traditional methods like oxen for plowing and modern innovations such as solar-powered drones for ripeness assessment. Production is limited to around 2,000 cases annually. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of spices, spring flowers, lemon, peach, jasmine, grapefruit, honeyed lychee, minty herbs, melon, and crushed apples. The palate is medium to full-bodied, fleshy, and satiny, framed by oak, revealing lovely density and creaminess with orchard fruit, marzipan, and chamomile flavors, yet it remains wonderfully fresh and light on its feet. The finish is long, persistent, and elegantly spicy, showcasing impressive purity of fruit. 【Impressive purity of fruit and elegant complexity】
