🏰 The 2023 Sancerre vintage is hailed as 【a new vintage of very high level】, showcasing remarkable minerality and purity of fruit. It was a generous year with good volume, and despite dry summer conditions, the grapes yielded abundant juice. Alcohol levels are well-restrained, typically between 12.5%-13.5%, balanced by lovely acidity. This particular wine is a single-vineyard selection from Bué, known for its finesse, delicacy, and complexity.
🍴 This Sancerre is incredibly versatile and food-friendly. It's a perfect match for seafood, fresh fish, langoustines, and the region's famous Crottin de Chavignol goat cheese. Also consider a warm goat cheese salad, creamy risotto, or sautéed shrimp.
🥂 Ideal for a refreshing aperitif, a summer gathering, or any meal featuring seafood or goat cheese. Its crisp acidity and vibrant fruit will also complement lighter preparations of poultry and fresh salads. Serve at 10-12°C (50-54°F).
