🏰 The 2022 vintage in Burgundy, particularly for the Côte de Beaune, is being hailed as exceptional, producing wines with impeccable health, perfect ripeness, and a balance of power and elegance. Domaine Clos de la Chapelle's Volnay 1er Cru from 2022 is already receiving rave reviews, noted for its deep color, aromatic richness, and fleshy structure. Expect a stylish and seductive red Burgundy with perfumed aromas of sandalwood, vanilla, cherry, raspberry, and mineral notes, complemented by toasty oak. The palate is rich and dense, with black cherry, black currant, and iron notes, supported by firm tannins and a long finish. 【Exceptional 2022 vintage with stylish and seductive character】.
🍴 This well-structured Volnay 1er Cru pairs beautifully with grilled meats such as lamb, rabbit, and beef. It also complements roasted poultry, mushroom-based dishes, and strong cheeses like Epoisses or Delices de Bourgogne.
🥂 An excellent choice for a celebratory dinner, a special gathering with friends, or as a significant addition to a Burgundy collection. Its impressive quality and aging potential make it suitable for both immediate enjoyment with decanting or cellaring for future appreciation.
