🏰 The 2013 Lamy Caillat Chassagne Montrachet Les Champs Gains 1er Cru comes from a vintage that produced elegant and fresh white Burgundies. 【This Premier Cru Chardonnay offers a beautiful nose of sesame, butter, and white flowers, with a fresh yet supple palate.】 While specific detailed tasting notes for the 2013 vintage from Lamy Caillat were not explicitly found, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru wines are known for their balance, minerality, and capacity to age. Expect a wine with vibrant acidity, notes of green apple, lemon, and a subtle touch of hazelnut, evolving with age to show more complex nutty and toasty characteristics.
🍴 This white Burgundy is a superb match for rich fish like salmon or tuna, pasta dishes, and mild to soft cheeses. It also pairs wonderfully with roasted white meats, poultry, and creamy sauces, where its acidity can cut through the richness. Consider it with fresh seafood or even fried food.
🥂 Ideal for a sophisticated dinner party, a special family gathering, or a celebratory meal. Its elegance and complexity make it a delightful choice for those who appreciate fine white Burgundy. Serve chilled, around 12-14°C.
