FEATURES
🏰 The 2024 Château Galoupet Côtes de Provence Rosé is a striking expression of its coastal terroir, born from a vintage marked by complex yet ultimately rewarding climatic conditions. Provence experienced heavy rainfall in March, replenishing soils, followed by late frosts in April that spared coastal vineyards, and some hail in July. However, a warm and sunny summer ensured optimal ripeness, leading to a "very good vintage" for Provençal rosé, characterized by fresh aromatic profiles and good acidity. Château Galoupet, a historic Cru Classé estate, is deeply committed to environmental stewardship, with organically farmed vineyards. This rosé is a pure terroir wine, where minerality meets smoothness. The nose is expressive and elegant, revealing notes of yellow fruits, kumquat, passion fruit, sweet spices, and wild herbs. On the palate, it is round, ample, and structured, with flavors of grapefruit zest, peach, pomegranate, and anise, culminating in a long, mineral, and saline finish that evokes the Mediterranean sea breeze. Notably, the 2023 vintage received 97 points and ranked first among 86 Provence Rosé wines in the Bettane et Desseauve guide. The 2024 is bottled in one of the world's lightest glass bottles, made from 80% recycled glass, highlighting the estate's sustainability efforts. 【 Last year's 2023 vintage received 97 points and ranked 1st out of 86 Provence Rosé wines in Bettane et Desseauve guide 】
🍴 This gastronomic rosé is incredibly versatile. It shines with seafood platters, grilled fish, ceviche, and Mediterranean salads. Consider pairing it with lightly spiced Asian cuisine, sushi, sashimi, or delicate charcuterie. For a more substantial meal, it complements monkfish with gratin dauphinois or creamy grilled asparagus with herbs de Provence.
🥂 Perfect for aperitifs with friends, seaside dinners, refined summer meals, or any relaxed yet elegant gathering where a fresh, precise, and characterful wine is desired.
