🏰 The 2021 Château Le Puy Rose-Marie is a rare and poetic expression from a pioneering biodynamic estate in Bordeaux, owned by the Amoreau family since 1610. This 100% Merlot wine is crafted using the *saignée* method, resulting in a delicate yet deep rosé, fermented in old oak barrels without any added sulfites or exogenous yeasts. The domain is Demeter certified, reflecting a deep sensitivity to natural balance. 【Extremely rare, only 2,400 bottles produced annually, no added sulfites】
This wine charms with a light to very clear ruby hue. The nose is of great finesse, offering fresh red fruits, white flowers, and peony notes, conveying a rare lightness and elegance. On the palate, the texture is fluid and airy, with a discreet, barely perceptible tannic presence that supports the wine without hardening it. Expect notes of strawberry, cherry, plum, and blackcurrant, with a fresh and playful character.
🍴 This versatile rosé pairs beautifully with a range of dishes, from vegetarian cuisine and grilled fish to refined appetizers and fresh cheeses. It can also stand up to gamey meats, braised dishes, red sauce pasta, meaty fish, roast white meats, rare steak, or even a cheeseboard.
🥂 A precious bottle to be savored for its sincerity and finesse, served slightly chilled. Its refreshing yet vinous style makes it suitable for enjoyment year-round, whether with a poularde in winter or grilled fish in summer. It is currently in its optimal drinking window, with potential to evolve until 2027+.
