Scarzello is a traditional, family-run estate located in the heart of the Barolo village. Now managed by Federico Scarzello, the winery is known for its long macerations and aging in large Slavonian oak casks. The 'Vigna Merenda' comes from a specific plot within the Sarmassa cru. It is a classic, structured Barolo, offering complex aromas of dried roses, cherry, tar, and earth, with firm tannins that require time to soften.
