🏰 The 2023 Bourgogne Rouge des Six Ifs from Les Horees is a very recent vintage, and detailed reviews are still emerging. As a Bourgogne Rouge, it is crafted from Pinot Noir, offering a classic expression of Burgundy's regional appellation. Typically, these wines are known for their bright red fruit characteristics, such as cherry and raspberry, often complemented by earthy undertones, subtle spice, and a delicate floral perfume. The 2023 vintage in Burgundy, while still being assessed, is expected to yield wines with good fruit purity and freshness. Les Horees, known for its biodynamic practices and focus on terroir, likely produces a wine that emphasizes elegance and a true reflection of its origins, even in its youth.
🍴 This versatile red Burgundy is an excellent match for a wide array of dishes. It pairs beautifully with roasted chicken, pan-seared duck breast, charcuterie, and mild cheeses. For a more casual setting, it would also complement mushroom risotto or light pasta dishes.
🥂 This 2023 Bourgogne Rouge is perfect for an everyday indulgence, a casual dinner with friends, or as an introduction to the charming world of red 布根地. It's also suitable for a wine club gathering exploring new releases from Burgundy.
