🏰Crafted by Catharina Sadde, a rising star in 布根地 (Burgundy), this Les Horées Bourgogne Aligoté En Coulezain "transcends its reputation as a simple aperitif wine", offering "considerably more complexity than Chardonnay". The 2023 vintage, despite being the hottest on record, yielded a plentiful crop of ripe fruit, with this wine specifically noted as "more structured and serious than previous vintages" and possessing an "edgy freshness". Expect a pale to mid-lemon hue with perfect 【fresh stony acidity】 and an immaculate, taffeta-like texture. Flavors of 【crisp green apple, pear, delicate white flowers, and a distinctly saline finish】 mingle with chalky, flinty freshness and citrus notes.
🍴 This versatile white wine pairs beautifully with seafood, lighter poultry, goat cheese, and fresh salads. It's also an excellent aperitif.
🥂 Ideal for aperitif, casual sipping, food-focused gatherings, or for those keen to discover the exciting talents emerging from 布根地 (Burgundy).
