🏰 Domaine Prieuré Roch's Vosne Romanée Les Clous 2018 is a 【captivating expression of Pinot Noir, renowned for its whole-bunch fermentation and a palate that promises graceful maturity and refined power】. This 2018, from a hot vintage, presents a deep ruby hue with an incredible nose of sour cherry, raspberry, pomegranate, and a mineral earthiness. The palate is full-bodied yet lively, showcasing fine tannins that have softened, poised acidity, and persistent red fruit notes under layers of leather, spice, and forest floor. It's a wine alive with age, offering subtle terroir drama and a long, spicy finish.
🍴 This elegant red Burgundy is a superb match for finely prepared red meats, game birds like duck or goose, and dishes with a rich red wine sauce. Consider pairing it with roasted venison or a classic coq au vin.
🥂 Perfect for a special dinner, a celebratory occasion, or a contemplative evening, this wine is still evolving and will benefit from further cellaring. Serve at 16-18°C (60-64°F) after decanting for 1-2 hours to allow its complex aromas to unfold.
