Château Montrose is a winery in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of fourteen Deuxièmes Crus (Second Growths) in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.
Château Gloria is a wine estate in Saint-Julien. In all there are 50 hectares (124 acres) of vineyards in several plots – in the middle of Beychevelle, in the north on the border with Pauillac, and in the west of the appellation. The soils are primarily composed of gravel over clay and sand, and plantings are 65 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 25 percent Merlot, and 5 percent each of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
