Robert Groffier, Gevrey Chambertin Les Seuvrees, 2015
🏰 The Robert Groffier Gevrey Chambertin Les Seuvrees 2015 hails from an 【extraordinary 2015 Burgundy vintage】, known for its healthy crop and fierce summer temperatures. This red 布根地 (Burgundy) is substantial, offering 【ripe blueberry and cherry fruit, complemented by hints of rose petal and spice】. Expect juicy ripe cherries, sweet spice, and soft tobacco leaf, with a light-medium body and quenching, tart red fruit notes, supported by tooth-gripping tannins.
🍴 This classic Gevrey-Chambertin pairs beautifully with roasted duck, goose, or other game birds. It also complements veal and venison dishes. For an Asian pairing, consider a savory Korean BBQ or a rich Cantonese braised pigeon.
🥂 An excellent choice for a celebratory meal, a special dinner with friends, or a focused Burgundy tasting. This wine is drinking well now and has plenty of time ahead.
