Bruno Clavelier, Chambolle Musigny La Combe D'orveaux 1er Cru, 1994
🏰 The 1994 Bruno Clavelier Chambolle Musigny La Combe d'Orveaux 1er Cru hails from a 【challenging yet rewarding 布根地 vintage】 where dedicated producers crafted wines of character. This Pinot Noir from the esteemed Chambolle-Musigny appellation is characterized by prevailing fresh red fruit, such as red currant and Morello cherry, alongside black fruit like blackberry, with evolving notes of undergrowth and floral hints. As a mature wine, expect a complex profile with savory elements and forest floor nuances complementing any lingering primary fruit.
🍴 This refined red 布根地 is an excellent partner for feathered game, such as roasted pheasant or duck, and mushroom-based dishes. It also pairs beautifully with roasted chicken, lighter game, or delicate beef preparations.
🥂 Ideal for a special occasion, a contemplative tasting, or as a thoughtful gift for a Burgundy connoisseur. Given its age, expect a more developed, complex character. The cork and capsule might be delicate, so open with care. Decanting for 1-2 hours is recommended to allow the wine to breathe and separate any sediment. Serve at 16-18°C (60-64°F).
