Château Montrose is a winery in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of fourteen Deuxièmes Crus (Second Growths) in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.
Founded in 1978 by Italian-American brothers John and Harry Mariani, Banfi has become a symbol of quality and innovation in winemaking. The winery is known for its Brunello di Montalcino, a prestigious Italian wine, as well as other high-quality wines like Chianti, SuperTuscans, and Alta Langa.
