Duroche, Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaux Saint Jacques, 2013
🏰The 2013 Duroche Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaux Saint Jacques is an 【elegant and complex Burgundy from a challenging 'terroir vintage'】, where the unique characteristics of the vineyard truly shine. Domaine Duroché is celebrated for crafting wines that exude class and depth with a weightless elegance. This Premier Cru offers a generous bouquet of crushed strawberry and cranberry, sous-bois, and fern, with a medium-bodied palate of fine tannins, crisp focus, and darker fruit notes of black plum and blackberry.
🍴 Chinese Cantonese food pairing various types of suggestion east or west corresponding to wine cost IN ENGLISH
This refined Burgundy pairs beautifully with delicate yet flavorful dishes. Consider Cantonese steamed chicken with ginger and scallions, pan-fried pigeon, or a Western braised venison. Mushroom-based dishes or mild, earthy cheeses would also be excellent.
🥂 fit for event suggestion IN ENGLISH
A sophisticated and elegant Burgundy, perfect for a special dinner, a gathering of wine enthusiasts, or a celebration where a refined red is appreciated. It still has aging potential. Decanting for 1-2 hours is recommended to allow its complex aromas to fully develop. Serve at 14-16°C (57-61°F).
