🏰Roulot's Meursault Les Narvaux 2010 is a highly acclaimed white Burgundy, celebrated for its 【precision, vibrant acidity, and profound expression of terroir.】 The 2010 vintage in white Burgundy is considered a classic year, marked by a relatively cool growing season that preserved crisp acidity and a reduced crop that delivered great intensity of flavor. Wines from this vintage, especially from top estates like Roulot, have excellent structure and long aging potential. Expect a wine with a salty tang of mineral, terrific length, and notes ranging from apple and fresh citrus to more exotic orange blossom, sometimes with hints of sweet hay and toasted nuts as it matures.
🍴 This exquisite Meursault pairs beautifully with rich seafood dishes like grilled scallops, pan-seared sole, or lobster with butter sauce. It's also a superb match for roasted chicken, creamy risottos, and a variety of aged, firm cheeses. The wine's acidity will cut through the richness, while its complexity will complement the flavors.
🥂 Ideal for a sophisticated dinner party, a special anniversary, or a serious tasting of fine white Burgundies. This 16-year-old wine is showing very well now, moving from fruity to more tertiary notes, but still youthful and energetic. It has plenty of potential to age further. Serve at a cool cellar temperature (around 12-14°C) to allow its intricate aromas to unfold. Be mindful of the cork and capsule when opening, as older vintages can be more delicate.
