The 1995 Tuscan vintage was small but excellent, saved by an "Indian summer" that led to excellent fruit quality with very good sugar/acid balance and ripe tannins. This tightly-knit and promising red wine displays a brilliant, deep ruby color with violet hues. It offers an intense, persistent aroma of red fruits, vanilla, brushwood, saddle leather, toast, cherry, and currant.
