Domaine Marie et Pierre Benetière was established after replanting vines on a 1.5-hectare plot south of the AOC "Les Cordeloux" in Mont-Rottey. The winery keeps a very low profile, declining almost all interviews and never attending any wine shows. However, Marie et Pierre Benetière has actually been making wine since the late 1980s. The plot faces southeast and receives abundant sunlight. The lands are located on steep slopes overlooking the Rhône River, making mechanical harvesting impossible, and they don't use herbicides. Working together organically since 2003, no certifications sought.
