🏰 The 2021 vintage in Burgundy was challenging but produced wines with freshness and elegance. Les Horées Gevrey Chambertin En Reniard is known for its 【biodynamic approach and precise expression of Gevrey Chambertin's terroir】. Expect a wine with bright red fruit aromas, earthy undertones, and a firm, structured palate typical of Gevrey Chambertin, yet with a vibrant acidity that speaks to the 2021 vintage. This wine will likely benefit from some aging to soften its tannins and allow its complexities to unfold.
🍴 Chinese Cantonese food pairing: This red Burgundy would be excellent with roasted pigeon, char siu (barbecued pork), or a delicate beef stir-fry with seasonal vegetables. For Western cuisine, consider coq au vin, roasted duck breast, or mushroom and truffle pasta.
🥂 fit for event suggestion: A superb choice for a sophisticated dinner, a special occasion celebrating fine Burgundy, or for cellaring to enjoy its evolution over the next decade or more.
