Prieure Roch, Nuits St Georges 1er Cru Vieilles Vignes, 2015
🏰 The 2015 Prieure Roch Nuits St Georges 1er Cru Vieilles Vignes is a highly sought-after expression from a producer renowned for their biodynamic practices and minimal intervention winemaking, resulting in wines of profound character and purity. While specific detailed tasting notes for the 2015 vintage of this particular wine were not readily available, Prieure Roch's Nuits St Georges 1er Cru Vieilles Vignes wines are typically celebrated for their 【intense aromatics, often featuring red and dark berries, forest floor, and savory spice, alongside a distinctive earthy minerality】. The 2015 vintage in Burgundy was generally excellent, producing ripe, concentrated, and well-structured wines with good aging potential. Expect a wine with depth, complexity, and a long, nuanced finish.
🍴 This expressive red Burgundy is an ideal partner for classic French cuisine. Pair it with roasted game birds like duck or pheasant, beef bourguignon, mushroom-based dishes, or mature, earthy cheeses like Epoisses.
🥂 Perfect for a special occasion, a contemplative tasting, or as a prized addition to a Burgundy collector's cellar. Serve at a cool cellar temperature (around 16-18°C) to allow its delicate aromatics to shine. Decanting for 30-60 minutes can help it open up, especially if it's been cellared for a while.
