🏰 The 2017 Ponsot Clos de la Roche Grand Cru is an 【exceptional vintage displaying resilience and elegance】, despite early spring frost. This Pinot Noir from 布根地's revered Clos de la Roche vineyard offers an intricate bouquet of dark cherries mingling with earthy undertones, whispers of spices, and significant aging potential. On the palate, experience an eloquent dance of strength and subtlety, revealing rich dark fruits balanced by vibrant minerality, with firm yet velvety tannins. Expect a deep ruby hue with garnet highlights, and aromas of ripe red and black fruit, wild cherry, rose, tobacco, and truffle. It is full-bodied, layered, and multidimensional, with a deep and concentrated core of fruit.
🍴 This powerful Grand Cru demands noble dishes such as venison steak, pheasant, truffle-infused beef, or capon stuffed with morels. It also pairs beautifully with big game and ripe, full-flavored cheeses.
🥂 An ideal wine for a grand celebration, a serious wine tasting, or as a cornerstone addition to a fine wine cellar. This wine has robust aging capacity and will continue to evolve gracefully. Serve at 17°C (62°F), and decanting is recommended to allow its complex aromatic profile to fully unfold.
