FEATURES
🏰 This 2021 Domaine Bart Marsannay Au Champ Salomon is a 【pure, characterful expression of Pinot Noir from Burgundy's northern reaches, often hailed as one of Burgundy's most exciting insiders' secrets】. It presents a vibrant, translucent ruby hue. The nose is expressive with layers of wild raspberry, red cherry, cranberry, rose petal, crushed strawberry, and subtle spice notes like white pepper, clove, and forest floor, alongside a mentholated and spicy timbre. On the palate, it's elegant and finely etched, showcasing juicy red fruit at its core, supported by bright acidity and silky, well-integrated tannins. It offers a balanced and harmonious structure, evolving with a complex yet fine character and a persistent, seductive finish. The 2021 vintage, with part of the fruit undergoing whole-berry maceration, captures both aromatic lift and textural depth.
🍴 This versatile red pairs beautifully with first and second meat dishes, such as noodles with deer steak, roasted lamb, or beef bourguignon. It's also excellent with game, aged cheeses, and dishes rich in aromatic herbs or moderately intense sauces.
🥂 Enjoy this wine now for its freshness and aromatic purity, or cellar it for another 5-8 years to allow additional complexity to develop.
