Gerard Mugneret, Vosne Romanee Les Suchots 1er Cru, 2015
🏰
【From the highly acclaimed 2015 vintage, this Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru "Les Suchots" embodies the richness of Richebourg and the delicacy of Romanee Saint-Vivant, offering a velvety yet refined experience.】 The 2015 vintage in Burgundy is celebrated as a very fine year, producing wines with excellent richness, ripeness, and density, many of which are drinking well now but will benefit from further cellaring. Les Suchots is renowned for combining the richness of Le Richebourg with the delicacy of Romanee Saint-Vivant, its esteemed neighbors. Expect an intense, deep garnet color. The nose reveals powerful black fruit aromas, intertwined with exotic spices, vanilla, caramel, and blackcurrant jam. The palate is structured, full-bodied, and voluptuous, with high yet smooth tannins, leading to a long, elegant finish.
