This dry white Riesling is pale lemon in color, offering aromas of green apple, pear, nectarine, petrol, wet stone, peach, elderflower, and white blossom. On the palate, it is dry with high acidity, medium alcohol, body, and flavor intensity, leading to a medium(+) finish. Notes of lemon, lime, green apple, wet stone, beeswax, peach, honeysuckle, and grapefruit are present, along with a subtle waxy texture. Robert Parker describes a deep, intense, and refined bouquet with smoky/flinty notes of basalt, firestone, and sulfur spring, culminating in an elegant, saline, and mineral palate with fine acidity and persistent freshness.
