FEATURES
🏰 The 2020 Bond Pluribus is an exceptional Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from Bond's single-vineyard Pluribus, highly praised despite the challenging 2020 vintage, with scores up to 98 points from James Suckling. The 2020 Napa Valley vintage was marked by wildfires and the COVID pandemic, yet Bond managed to produce outstanding wines, often with lower yields. Pluribus originates from a Spring Mountain vineyard with decomposed volcanic soil, surrounded by a conifer forest, at elevations of 1137-1327 feet. It presents a deep purple-black color. The nose offers profound scents of blackcurrant jelly, black cherry compote, boysenberry preserves, leading to touches of garrigue, licorice, and violets, alongside aromas of crushed stone, oyster shell, and blackcurrants. The palate reveals a rich, velvety texture with flavors of ripe black fruits, plum, blackberry, and black cherry, complemented by hints of vanilla, forest floor, oak, cedar, and cigar box. It is full-bodied, muscular, and strong in its tannin structure, yet with a fine texture, shimmering with 【energy and tension, framed by fantastically ripe tannins】, and finishing with loads of pure black fruit and mineral layers.
🍴 This powerful Cabernet Sauvignon is a perfect match for grilled or roasted red meats like steak or prime rib, rich stews, lamb, game, and aged hard cheeses.
🥂 A cellar-worthy wine ideal for a significant milestone celebration, a luxurious dinner, or a serious tasting of top-tier Napa Cabernets.
