Jean Chartron, Chevalier Montrachet Clos Des Chevaliers Grand Cru, 2002
🏰The 2002 Jean Chartron Chevalier Montrachet Clos des Chevaliers Grand Cru is a 【magnificent Grand Cru white Burgundy, renowned for its elegance, power, and complexity】. The 2002 vintage in Burgundy was generally very good for whites, known for balance and freshness. With 24 years of age, this wine would likely show developed savory notes, such as mushroom and truffle, alongside a rich, evolved profile. Expect a bouquet of white flowers, citrus, stone fruit (peach, apricot), toasted nuts, and profound minerality, often with a creamy texture and a long, persistent finish.
🍴 This superb Chardonnay pairs exceptionally well with gourmet dishes like roasted turbot or lobster in a rich cream sauce, truffled poultry, veal sweetbreads, or aged, complex cheeses.
🥂 An ideal choice for a truly special occasion, a gourmet dinner, or a vertical tasting of fine Chardonnay. This wine is likely at a beautiful stage of maturity, offering a profound and memorable experience.
