Chateau de Fargues is a historic estate in Sauternes, owned by the Lur-Saluces family (formerly of Chateau d'Yquem) since 1472. The estate produces only one wine, a magnificent sweet wine made from Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc affected by noble rot. Known for its incredible richness, complexity, and longevity, Fargues is considered one of the greatest unclassified estates in Bordeaux.
