Lucien Le Moine, Batard Montrachet Grand Cru, 2009
🏰The 2009 Lucien Le Moine Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru hails from a vintage celebrated for its generosity and ripeness in white Burgundy, offering wines of opulent character. This Grand Cru is a testament to Lucien Le Moine's meticulous, often hands-on winemaking, producing a wine that is both powerful and expressive. Expect a rich, full-bodied palate with layers of ripe orchard fruits like 【golden apple and pear】, intertwined with notes of 【toasted nuts, buttered brioche, and a profound minerality】 that speaks of its prestigious terroir. The finish is long, luxurious, and impeccably balanced.
🍴 Chinese Cantonese food pairing various types of suggestion east or west corresponding to wine cost IN ENGLISH
This opulent white Burgundy pairs exquisitely with rich seafood dishes such as pan-seared scallops with a creamy saffron sauce, lobster thermidor, or roasted turbot. For a Cantonese twist, consider steamed garoupa with ginger and spring onion, or even a delicate bird's nest soup. It also complements aged hard cheeses beautifully.
