BACKGROUND
Château Plince is a 10-hectare (25-acre) estate in Bordeaux's Pomerol region. The Moreau family dedicate the entirety of their vineyards to the production of a single Merlot-dominant Bordeaux blend, making approximately 50,000 bottles per year.The vineyards extend over 9ha (22 acres), 72 percent of which is planted to Merlot, 23 percent to Cabernet Franc and 5 percent to Cabernet Sauvignon. In a break from the vast majority of estates in Pomerol, Château Plince harvests its vineyards by machine.
