Frédéric Esmonin, Griottes Chambertin Grand Cru, 1995
🏰 The 1995 vintage in Burgundy, particularly for the Côte de Nuits, was generally considered a very good to excellent year, producing wines with good structure, concentration, and aging potential. Frédéric Esmonin is known for crafting traditional, terroir-driven Pinot Noir from his family's holdings. Griottes-Chambertin Grand Cru is a highly esteemed vineyard, known for producing elegant and aromatic wines within the Chambertin family. Expect a wine that, at 29 years old, should be showing beautiful tertiary aromas of forest floor, leather, and spice, alongside lingering red fruit. 【 Elegant and aromatic Grand Cru from a very good vintage 】
🍴 This mature Griottes-Chambertin Grand Cru would be exquisite with classic Burgundian pairings. Think roasted game birds like squab or guinea fowl, delicate lamb preparations, or a fine mushroom tart. Its elegance and developed complexity also make it a superb match for truffle dishes or a selection of refined, aged cheeses.
🥂 This Frédéric Esmonin Griottes-Chambertin Grand Cru 1995 is ideal for a truly memorable occasion, such as a significant anniversary, a milestone birthday, or a serious wine collector's tasting. It's a wine that speaks of history and terroir, offering a profound and contemplative experience.
