Francois Raveneau, Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru, 2012
🏰【A rare gem from a legendary producer】, the Francois Raveneau Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru 2012 offers a profound expression of Chablis terroir. While specific vintage notes for this exact wine are limited, 2012 in Chablis generally yielded wines with good concentration and vibrant acidity, promising excellent aging potential. Expect a complex bouquet of mineral, citrus, and white floral notes, evolving into richer, honeyed nuances with age. The palate should be precise, powerful, and long, showcasing the classic saline minerality of Les Clos.
🍴 This exquisite white Burgundy is perfect with pan-seared scallops, grilled lobster, or rich poultry dishes in a cream sauce. It also shines alongside aged Comté or other firm, nutty cheeses.
🥂 Ideal for a celebratory dinner, a serious wine tasting, or as a special gift for a Chablis connoisseur.
