🏰The 2018 vintage in the Northern Rhone, home to Hermitage, was generally considered excellent, producing wines with 【richness and concentration balanced by freshness】. While specific notes for Bernard Faurie Hermitage Rouge 2018 are limited, Bernard Faurie is renowned for crafting traditional, age-worthy Hermitage Rouge from 100% Syrah, known for its purity and intensity. Expect a powerful yet elegant wine, showcasing dark fruit aromas like blackberry and cassis, intertwined with savory notes of olive, smoked meat, and black pepper, often with a hint of violet. The palate typically offers firm tannins, a full body, and a long, mineral-driven finish, promising significant aging potential.
