Sylvain Cathiard, Chambolle Musigny Les Clos De L'orme, 1999
🏰 The 1999 Burgundy vintage was generally excellent, producing a large crop that survived spring frost and came through flowering successfully. It was a generous vintage with ripe grapes and good sugar readings, though some growers preferred not to pick too early. The wines were ripe and concentrated, with a very pure quality to the fruit and noticeable length of flavor. Sylvain Cathiard is a highly respected producer known for crafting wines of exceptional purity and elegance. Expect a wine with ripe fruit, concentration, and a pure quality to the fruit, with noticeable length of flavor. Given the producer and vineyard, it would likely exhibit the elegance and aromatic complexity typical of Chambolle-Musigny, with notes of red berries, floral hints, and evolving savory or earthy undertones with age. 【1999年優異年份的純淨與集中度】
🍴 This red Burgundy is ideal with roasted duck breast, pan-seared foie gras, mushroom-based dishes, or delicate game birds. Its elegance would also complement a fine cheese platter.
🥂 This is a superb wine for a special occasion, a celebratory dinner, or a serious tasting among Burgundy enthusiasts. It's a wine that offers both immediate pleasure and further aging potential.
