🏰 The 2020 Louis Jadot Bonnes Mares Grand Cru comes from a 【unique Burgundy vintage】 that produced wines of exceptional freshness and balance, despite hot and dry conditions. The 2020 reds possess a distinct deep color, yet still maintain elegance and definition, being on the riper side of the spectrum but with great concentration to support long aging. This Grand Cru Pinot Noir is known for its complexity and structure. The 2020 vintage for red Burgundy is praised for being concentrated but lively, fresh, and lucid, with a finely balanced and harmonious style. Expect aromatic wines, some floral, others spicy, many with hints of culinary herbs and anise.
🍴 This powerful and elegant Bonnes Mares Grand Cru is an excellent match for sophisticated dishes. Consider roasted game birds like pheasant or partridge, duck breast, or fine cuts of beef. Earthy mushroom dishes or mature, firm cheeses would also complement its complexity.
🥂 An outstanding choice for a significant celebration, a serious wine tasting, or as a cornerstone addition to a Burgundy collector's cellar. This wine has excellent aging potential and will continue to evolve beautifully over many years.
Serving suggestion: Decant for 1-2 hours to allow its intricate aromas and flavors to fully express themselves. Serve at 16-18°C (61-64°F).
